·      Rebecca Grace Allen—Finished Legally Bound 2: Her Claim. Also received offers to contract audio rights for Her Claim and Book 3: Their Discovery.

·      Kathryn R. Biel—Queen of Hearts releases1/23/2018. Made for Me is in Amazon Prime Reading.

June 2016 Member News

Capital Region Romance members had another outstanding month! Congratulations to everyone on their accomplishments.

  • Marie Lark’s fourth book, The First Morning After, released from LooseID on June 7.
  • Kelli Newby’s book won the Fire And Ice competition in the Contemporary Romance category.
  • Debby Nolan’s sweet romance Starting Over is coming out in January 2017 through Desert Breeze Press.
  • Sue Ann Porter will have a flash fiction story published in the next issue of Machinery Mag, a publication based in India.
  • The fifth book in Lucinda Race’s Loudon Series, Ready To Soar, will be out in four weeks.
  • Glen Ebisch’s book about a television meteorologist entitled Stormy Weather will be coming out next year from The Wild Rose Press.
  • Rachael Miles’ second book, Chasing The Heiress, released on May 31st from Kensington.

April and May Member News

Our members continue to make huge strides in their writing careers. Here’s what they’ve been up to this spring:

  • K.A. Mitchell completed and turned in a proposal for a second book in the Ready or Knot series.
  • Thomasine Rappold signed a 3 book contract with Kensington/Lyrica. The first book will be released 12/8/15.
  • Kari Cole is a finalist in Cleveland Rocks, Chicago Fire & Ice and the Daphne contests.
  • Jean C. Gordon’s Winning the Teacher’s Heart made the Amazon Kindle Contemporary Christian Romance Best Seller list as part of a Love Inspired boxed set.
  • Virginia Frost entered 2 writing contests.
  • Nona Raines signed a contract for a new novella with The Wild Rose Press.
  • Mary-Teresa Heath is a finalist in the Cleveland Rocks contest.
  • Debby Nolan submitted to several agents.
  • The Wedding Gift, the fifth book in Cara Connelly’s Save the Date series released May 5, 2015.


February and March Member News

Our authors have been incredibly productive this year! We’re pleased to share some of their accomplishments.

  • Jeanette Grey’s new erotic futuristic romance Through the Static was released by Samhain 1/20/15
  • Cara Connelly’s new “Save the Date” novel, The Wedding Band was released by Avon 2/10/15
  • K.A. Mitchell signed a contract for Put a Ring on It, the first in a new series called Ready or Knot. It will be released with Dreamspinner Press in September. The print release for her novel Bad Influence received a 4 star review in RT.
  • Debby Nolan received a request from an agent for a full manuscript.
  • Glen Ebishch’s Stormy Weather was accepted for publication by Five Star.
  • Anna Bowling’s essay on creativity appeared in Eryka Perkin’s 31 Days to Jump Start Your Life.
  • Virginia Frost received a request for a full manuscript.
  • Jean Gordon’s Winning the Teacher’s Heart will be in stores in May.
  • Jenna Kendrick’s first novel Relocated will be out April 7, to be followed shortly by Reconnected.
  • Julie Lomoe’s new novel Hope Dawns Eternal will come out this month.
  • Autumn Jones Lake’s new release Strength from Loyalty (Lost Kings MC#3) released March 17, 2015.
  • Rebecca Grace Allen revealed the cover of the 2nd book in her Portland Rebels series, The Hierarchy of Needs, out July 7, 2015 from Samhain.

  • Jeanette Grey finished the first draft of her new novel, When the Stars Align.
  • K.A. Mitchell’s new book, Bad Behavior, the fifth in her Bad In Baltimore series, releases Tuesday, December 16, 2014.
  • Lisa Lewis’s holiday novella, Midnight Mixup, will be released Monday, December 15, 2014, from Black Lion Publishing.
  • Debby Nolan submitted her completed manuscript to an agent who had requested.
  • Autumn Jones Lake released Corrupting Cinderella (Lost Kings MC #2) on December 2, 2014.
  • Lonnie McManus submitted her completed manuscript, The Last Dark Angel.

Our members had another great month in January!

  • K.A. Mitchell sold her eighteenth book to Samhain Publishing. The book is Bad Behavior, and it will be part five in her Bad in Baltimore series.
  • Autumn Jones Lake sold the third book in her Catnip and Cauldrons series to Breathless Press, and one short story to be included in an anthology.
  • Debby Nolan‘s third book, Second Act for Carrie Armstrong just came out through Desert Breeze Press this January. It is available through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
  • Tracey Lyons aka Tracey Sorel has accepted representation from Susan Brower of the  Natasha Kern Literary Agency.
