Evy De Winter

Evy De Winter has been a walk of shame (up all hours of the night reading) romance addict since the tender age of 12. Shortly after finishing Judy Blume’s Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret? in eighth grade, she jumped head first into Kathleen’s Surrender by Nan Ryan, which led to her Kathleen Woodwiss obsession. She devoured everything that crossed her path: historical, contemporary, and suspense.

She experienced a reset of magical proportions. Gone were her childhood dreams of becoming a runway model (at 5’4”) or the lead singer of a girl band (birds fall from the sky when she sing). She compulsively began to fill notebooks with wild tales in which her heroine always found her happily ever after.

Today, those treasured stories are packed away in a special trunk waiting to be reworked (watch out YA). She is currently writing her first contemporary romance with plenty of laughs and unique characters.

She has the privilege of sharing her life with four sons, an English husband, German Shepherds, and tuxedo cat near Lake George, New York. When her fingers aren’t clacking away at a keyboard, you can find her hiking, running, knitting, reading, traveling, and Pinteresting her heart out.
